The Zenith Chronomaster Sport is the culmination of over 50 years of mastery of the sporty chronograph and the automatic chronograph caliber. Equipped with the latest generation of the El Primero chronograph caliber capable of measuring and displaying 1/10th of a second measurement, this latest reference is crafted in gleaming rose gold and black ceramic.
The Chronomaster Sport is a modern twist on the iconic El Primero watch, with a crisp new design on the exterior and a considerable upgrade on the inside. However, just because something is “new” doesn’t imply everything that made prior watches successful has been forgotten.

Despite many aesthetic and mechanical changes, the brand’s DNA and distinctive design elements from previous El Primero watches have been preserved, making this watch an evolution rather than a revolution.
The 41mm case, which retains all of the steel models’ features, such as a domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating, a sapphire case back, and a comfortable 100m water-resistance, now has a rich and luxurious gold tone, which is kept relatively hidden by the black ceramic bezel and leather strap option. The pump pushers and crown, in the same vein, are emblematic of this collection.
The color contrast is pleasing and gives the Chronomaster Sport a rich appearance without detracting from its initial casual purpose. The case also has brushed accents and polished surfaces and beveled lugs, and a 13.60mm overall height.

The dial came with the signature overlapping sub-counters, with the tri-color scheme and snailed texture, are back and give this watch an undeniable Zenith charm. The hands and markers are gold-plated instead of rhodium-plated in this gold edition. The rest of the dial remains similar, including the matte white base that complements the warm tone of the case and the contrasting color of the bezel.
This watch is powered by the new generation of the legendary El Primero automatic high-frequency automatic chronograph caliber. It can precisely offer a 1/10th of second display from the 5 Hz (36’000 VpH) escapement, as well as an extended power reserve of 60 hours. The contemporary architecture is strikingly evident, revealing a blue column wheel and an open rotor marked with the five-pointed Zenith star.
