The new partnership is expected to provide tourists looking for fun with a range of remarkable thrills and emotions. Roger Dubuis, as the official timing partner also unveils the Excalibur Spider Huracán MB, a brand-new timepiece.
The DNA of Lamborghini Squadra Corse is combined with Roger Dubuis’ superior watchmaking skills for the new Excalibur Spider Huracán MB. Measuring 45 mm in diameter, the automated RD630 Calibre Excalibur Spider Huracán channels the same thrilling performance as its car nameplate.
Strong stylistic references from the Huracán GT3 EVO2, notably the supercar’s honeycomb pattern and hexagonal console, are mirrored in the design of its Calibre.
Both Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Roger Dubuis have a passion for influencing the future and are persistently on the lookout for high-tech materials. Roger Dubuis uses pure white Mineral Composite Fiber to create the new Excalibur Spider Huracán MB case, bezel, and crown that is similar to the Lamborghini Squadra Corse material.
This cutting-edge material, which was exclusively created in-house, showcases the Maison’s technical prowess. MCF is 13% lighter than SMC carbon, and its light weight not only makes it quite comfortable to wear, but its solid structure also makes it possible to create detailed motifs.
To pay tribute to the Huracán GT3 EVO, the pure white MCF is further heightened with decorations in startling green, fiery red, and explosive yellow. The white rubber strap incorporates green calf leather that has been perforated with tiny holes to show the red colour beneath it.
