The Pasha, a faithful descendant of Cartier, shapes a case history that plays with the geometry of a square inside a circle. This model is easily identifiable by its cabochon-capped crown protector that is fastened on a short chain. In this article, we are going to examine the Pasha de Cartier Skeleton ADLC, one of their new releases in 2022.
This Pasha de Cartier Skeleton ADLC was hidden amid the more traditional Pasha models of 2022. There is another skeletonized model in the collection, but it doesn’t have the wonderful blue glow-in-the-dark dial as this one and has a brightly polished case instead.

Although it is similarly built of stainless steel, this model stands out from its siblings with a darker, more technical, and more modern personality thanks to its black brushed ADLC bezel.
The round case measures 41 mm in diameter and 10.45 mm in height. It has Louis Cartier’s iconic Vendome-style bars with rounded Clous de Paris points, which were created and trademarked in 1934, as well as the crown guard and chain with sapphire cabochon tips.
The crown, chain, and clasp are all polished Clous de Paris while the wide, sloping bezel is brushed like the case. The chained crown protector, like other Pasha versions, hides a small plate that can be personalised.
The four prominent Arabic numbers, which are etched onto the main-plate, defy Cartier’s long-standing practice of Roman numerals. The enormous Arabic numerals at 12, 3, and 6 o’clock are shown in an Art Deco font and are denoted by Cartier’s distinctive sword-shaped hour and minute hands. The square track for the minutes, suspended in the centre of the dial and serving as a component of the bridges, contrasts with the thick, circular, sloping bezel.
On this skeletonized variant, Genta’s square-inside-a-circle design is even more obvious and glows with light blue Super-LumiNova. The Pasha Skeleton puts on a spectacular display in the dark when it is applied to the four Arabic numerals, the indexes, the square minute track, and the hands.
The huge skeletonized rotor and bridges, which mirror the design of the square minute track, are visible via the transparent case back. The movement is equipped with the automatic calibre 9624MC, a skeletonized version of the 1904MC that beats at 28,800 vph and features a 48-hour power reserve.
All Pasha versions made in 2020 and later have an invisible mechanism that works with Cartier’s QuickSwitch system to let you switch out the bracelet or strap. The black and dark grey alligator straps that come with this Pasha may be switched out using the single press button on the underside of the lugs.
