At Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024, Roger Dubuis celebrated the tourbillon in all its forms with four astonishing releases. Each brand-new timepiece stands out for having its own distinctive mechanics and breathtaking aesthetics, demonstrating once more why Roger Dubuis is a watchmaker unlike any other.
Invented over 200 years ago, the tourbillon stands at the pinnacle of high horology. Roger Dubuis is one watchmaker to have accepted this complex challenge, delivering decades of its own expressive interpretations and signature designs. Their tourbillon journey continues at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024, where four new masterpieces are revealed. Each one demonstrates the incredible artistry of Hyper Horology™, while telling its own tourbillon story through mechanics and beauty.
Roger Dubuis Excalibur Titanium Monotourbillon
The Excalibur Titanium Monotourbillon is the brand’s second titanium-crafted watch, and it is only available in a limited edition of 28 pieces. The Monotourbillon, which is normally found at six o’clock, is featured at seven o’clock on the skeleton dial. In addition, the upper bridge is modelled by the Celtic Cross, the bottom side has a flying tourbillon case, and the rehaut has minute markings.
The hand-decorated, internally created Calibre RD512SQ, which has a 72-hour power reserve, powers the watch. Its movement bears the Poinçon de Genève trademark, attesting to its provenance and dependability. The watch is completed with a metallic bracelet using the brand’s three-row style.
Roger Dubuis Excalibur Sunrise Double Tourbillon
The 45mm Excalibur Sunrise Double Tourbillon is crafted in pink gold. With 108 gemstones overall, the watch has a skeleton dial with a gem-set Celtic Cross and nine hour markers, as well as a bezel adorned with red garnets, orange spessartite, and yellow sapphires.
A twin flying monotourbillon at the bottom of the dial serves as another fascination. With its automatic calibre RD108, this luxurious watch has a power reserve of almost 72 hours. It is a limited edition of eight pieces. The watch is finished with an exquisite calf leather strap.
Roger Dubuis Orbis in Machina
The 88-piece limited edition Orbis in Machina, so named because of the tourbillon’s revolving nature and the dial’s circular orbit, has a central flying tourbillon that is a component of the Calibre RD115 and has a power reserve of 72 hours. The 45mm 18K pink gold watch’s dial also has a rehaut that displays the hour markers and grey concentric 3D discs that show the minutes and seconds.
