Polo Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin
The Piaget Polo collection has unveiled three ultra-thin perpetual calendar watches. The Obsidian reference, a captivating and radiant watch with a 42mm white gold case and a blue obsidian display, is in the lead.
In keeping with the mysterious color scheme, the bezel is surrounded by 56 brilliant-cut diamonds, and complementary straps are available in alligator or rubber material. The surviving model is made of steel, while the other two versions include a variant with a rose gold case and a green guilloché dial. The three new models are powered by Piaget’s Manufacture 1255P ultra-thin movement, which comes with hours, minutes, and lunar phase indicators.
Limelight Aura High Jewelry Watch
The Limelight Aura features a 10-carat white gold frame that is entirely studded with diamonds and sapphires, which is a testimony to Piaget’s love of precious materials. The Maison refers to this intricate timepiece, which includes the strap and dial with embedded diamonds, as a “rare specimen that represents more than 260 hours of impeccable craftsmanship.”
The watch has a thin, well-fitting profile and is only 27.5mm in diameter and 2.1mm thick. This watch is powered by a 430P hand-wound ultra-thin mechanism that has 43 hours of power reserve.
Limelight High Jewelry Cuff Watches
Piaget has also revealed three modern versions of the well-known cuff watches made by Maison. The shape, which has an avant-garde yet organic design, is inspired by free-form jewelry from the 1960s and 1970s as well as hyper-naturalism. Each piece features a hand-engraved cuff with a different design and texture surrounding an oval watch that is partially hidden.
One model has a case made of 18-karat white gold, an enticing opal dial, and some emeralds embedded in it. Another piece features a rose gold case that is encrusted with patterns of diamonds, and the bezel is an iridescent white opal. The remaining watch also has a rose gold case but contrasts its smooth turquoise and tonal sapphire embeds with engravings that resemble wood. The 356P compact quartz movement powers all three watches.
Those new models from Piaget will be coming soon to The Time Place boutique.
